Is Prime Minister Gordon Brown a bully?
Kathmandu, 22 Feb. (Dainikee)
Prime Minister Gordon Brown has accused for manhandling and attacking his staffs. Yesterday, the staffs had contacted the anti bullying helpline to report the verbal bullying by the Prime Minister. National Bullying Helpline run by Christine Pratt reported that there were three to four calls already from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Christine Pratt suggested that the bullying work environment has caused stress among the staffs. In fact, senior member Sir Gus O’Donnell, the Cabinet Secretary, was forced to warn the Prime Minister to control his anger.
Mr. Brown, who had campaigned against bullying, was involved in at least three episodes of physical aggression.
Mr. Brown is believed to be swearing at his staffs, venting his anger on his secretary for not typing fast enough and also throwing coke cans and pens at his staffs.
However, the spokesperson for Downing Street has denied the allegations that the Cabinet Secretary had such comments about the Prime Minister.
