China Intensifies Tug of War With India on Nepal
Nepal’s home minister, Bhim Rawal, met with China’s top security officials, Chinese state media reported that the two countries had agreed to cooperate on border security, while Nepal restated its commitment to preventing any “anti-China” events on its side of the border.

Nepal beats Singapore by 16 runs

Nepal puts an impressive game as they beat Singapore by 16 runs in ICC Division 5 game hosted at Pulchowk Campus. Nepal had won thetoss and elected to bat, they scored 180 runs for 9 wickets in the alloted 50 overs match. Basanta Regmi from Nepal hit 54 runs, while Sharad Vesawkar scored 32 runs and Shakti Gauchan with 24 runs. Dharmichand took 3 wickets and Janjua took 2 wickets for Singapore.
Later Singapore had to chase the 181 target for which they were able to score 164 runs at 47.5 overs. For Singapore, Param scored 41 runs, Suryawanshi hit 29 runs and Arora scored 20 runs. From Nepal's side, Sanzam Regmi took 4 wickets and Basanta Regmi with 2 wickets.
Basanta Regmi was the man of the match for Nepal as he scored 54 runs and took 2 wickets.
In the other games that took place, Jersey won Fiji by 9 wickets and USA defeat Bahrain by 19 runs.
