Thankot faces turbulence

Headquarters at Halchowk faces demonstration

Kathmandu, 20 Feb. (Dainikee)

Prithvi Highway has been shutdown from friday. The Maoist had tried to stop armed police force's vehicle from entering valley at Dhading area. The vehicle coming to Kathmandu Valley was believed to carry arms as per the Maoist officials. Government is alleged for importing arms from India against the peace agreement.

The trucks carrying arms were tried to be stopped by Maoist at Thankot area as well. But the police took the situation under control by and successfully brought these vehicles inside the headquaters at Halchowk. Several members of the Maoist have been injured as the Police took the situation under control. The Headquaters at Halchowk are facing demonstrations by the YCL members.
