U.S. Assistant Secretary of State visits Nepal

Kathmandu, 12 June(Dainikee)

The United States Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake arrived in Nepali capital Kathmandu on Friday on a two-day official visit to Nepal.

During his visit, Blake will meet with President Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sujata Koirala, and opposition leader and former Prime Minister Prachanda.

He will also meet with political leaders, government officials and United Nations representatives to discuss the establishment of the new government, continuation of the peace process, and economic development, the U.S. embassy in Kathmandu said in a press release.

"I am looking forward to a very good rounds of meetings with the President, Prime Minister, and other leaders of Nepal," Blake said on arrival.
