NUMBER OF HIV POSITIVE PEOPLE UP IN LAMJUNG
Lamjung,12 March (Dainikee)
The number of HIV-positive people has reached 116 in Lamjung district over the last five years, according to the District HIV/AIDS Coordination Committee.Programme coordinator of the committee, Bishnu Thapa, however estimates the number of HIV-positive people in the district might be even exceed this as this number includes only people who have come in contact with committee.

Misuse of Electricity at the Convention Hall

While the Nepalese people are facing almost 11 hours of load shedding everyday, the Conference Hall where the constituent Assembly meeting takes place is misutilising the electricity. The southern and the east wall of the Conference Hall uses high power Halogen Lamps. These lights might be set to a timer that switches it on at the dusk at as early as 5 pm and switches off at late 8 am in the morning.

Prithvi Highway has been shutdown from friday. The Maoist had tried to stop armed police force's vehicle from entering valley at Dhading area. The vehicle coming to Kathmandu Valley was believed to carry arms as per the Maoist officials. Government is alleged for importing arms from India against the peace agreement.

Swayambhu Yatayat halts its services

Swayambhu Yatayat has suspended their bus services after the discussion between the owners of Swayambhu Yatayat Bus Operation Committee and police officials. Four buses were torched by the public in Chabahil area after the one of the Swayambhu Yatayat buses ran over five people, of which 45-year-old Dambar Kumari Nepali of Dolakha and 32-year-old Reeta Basyal of Palpa died.

25 feared to be dead in a train crash

Two commuter trains collided head on at Buizingen, nine miles south-west of Brussels, at 8.30 am local time (0730GMT). The death toll is estimated to be up to 25 people according to the railway officials.
Lodewijk De Witte, governor of the province of Flemish Brabant, said one train "apparently did not heed a stoplight."

Pressure cooker bomb found near Army Barrack

A pressure cooker bomb was found and disposed today morning near the Jhapa's Nepalese Army Barrack. The bomb found inside the Tea Garden compound at Damak-15 was disposed at 9.40 in the morning by the Nepalese Army Bomb Dispose squad.
